Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Assistant to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties

• Support bartenders by preparing and serving beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and bar safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bar cleaning, food handling stations, and general venue tidiness
• Buss tables and assist with clearing glassware and dishes promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, stock replenishment, and equipment setup
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing with accuracy
• Assist with food preparation tasks in compliance with food industry standards and venue safety protocols
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during service to maintain hygiene standards

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in bars, restaurants, or nightclubs
• Familiarity with bar experience including bartending skills and beverage service techniques
• Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Experience with food industry safety standards, including food handling and bar safety compliance
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking
• Experience working in high-energy venues such as nightclubs or busy restaurants is highly desirable

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
