Bar Assistant Manager

About the role

Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring smooth service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate the bar team to maintain high standards of beverage quality, guest service, and professionalism
• Monitor beverage inventory, stock requisitions, wastage, and cost control
• Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation, and compliance with established recipes and SOPs
• Support bar revenue targets through upselling, promotions, and effective service execution
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally to maintain guest satisfaction
• Ensure bar cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and compliance with company standards
• Assist in staff training, duty scheduling, performance monitoring, and operational reporting

About you

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in bar operations, preferably in a restaurant or resort
• Previous supervisory experience in a bar or F&B operation is preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, inventory management, and cost control
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Professional English communication skills
• Customer-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
