About the Role Ranelagh's Tavern is a VERY busy, welcoming pub located in the heart of Liverpool. We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Bar Manager or Assistant Manager to join our team and help run our daily operations. If you are passionate about the pub trade and have a strong background in hospitality leadership, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all customers.
• Lead, train, and manage the bar staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Handle shifts efficiently, including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage stock, maintain cellar standards, and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Step up to resolve any customer queries or operational issues promptly.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous management or supervisory experience within the pub trade is strictly required.
• Licensing: You must hold a valid Personal Licence.
• Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the confidence to handle staff and delegate tasks effectively.
• Attributes: Reliable, hardworking, and genuinely interested in a long-term role in the hospitality industry.
• Availability: Must be flexible and available to work during our peak times, including weekends, late nights, bank holidays, Christmas, and New Year, Aintree races.
