Bar Attender — Weekend Shift

Job Summary

Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM (8 hours per shift) Reports to: Bar Manager / Floor Manager Type: Part-time, weekends only Role Summary Prepare and serve beverages, manage the bar counter during peak evening and late-night service, and keep the bar area clean, stocked, and compliant. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes and portion sizes Take orders directly from guests at the bar and from servers for table orders Handle billing accurately through the POS system (TOAST); close out tabs and reconcile the till at end of shift Stock the bar before service (liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware) and restock during the shift Maintain bar cleanliness and hygiene throughout service; complete closing cleanup and shutdown Monitor and record inventory of bottles and consumables; report low stock and breakages Check ID and refuse service to underage or visibly intoxicated guests, per local law Follow opening and closing checklists and hand over the bar in order Requirements Minimum legal age to serve alcohol in the state/region 4 to 5 years of experience as a bartender or bar assistant (freshers with a bartending course certificate may be considered) Working knowledge of standard cocktails, spirits, beer and wine service Comfortable with TOAST POS/billing systems and cash handling Able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 20 kg (crates, kegs, ice) Available all three weekend nights, including late close and holidays Basic English and local language communication; clean, presentable appearance Food handler / hygiene certification preferred Compensation [Hourly rate of $ 2.15] + tips

Pay: $2.00 - $27.35 per hour
