This position is responsible for maintaining the bar areas, and equipment and assisting in the service of food and beverage to guests in a high-paced environment at Devon Seafood + Steak.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Responsible for setup, and service of bar and storage areas.*

• Respond to guests’ needs by answering questions pertaining to wine, liquor, and cocktail menus.*

• Maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar area including counters, floors, refrigerators, and removal of trash.*

• Monitor shelves and coolers to ensure proper stocking of beer, wine, liquor, and other beverages.*

• Assist servers and bartenders with duties such as mixing drinks, serving guests, detailing, and breakdown of the bar area.*

• Assist with the inventory process on a monthly basis.*

• Assist with filling and delivering requisitioned products and equipment.*

• Restock the bar area with clean glasses and other accessories.*

• Assist the manager with liquor pick-ups as well as the ordering process.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

• Must complete RAMP certification training

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to abide by all state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.

Job Demands:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
