Bar Captain

Key responsibilities

• Train, mentor and supervise bartenders and baristas to improve skills and service
• Manage beverage stock, ensure adequate supplies, and avoid wastage
• Provide the best service to guests, handle complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure the bar is always clean and meets hygiene and food safety standards
• Assist in recording sales, analyzing trends of hot-selling drinks, and providing reports to management
• Ensure all bar operations are in compliance with legal regulations regarding alcohol sales

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bartender or similar position, with at least 1 year as Supervisor / Captain
• Understand various types of drinks, mixing techniques, and the latest cocktail/mixology trends
• Able to lead a team, provide training, and ensure optimal performance
• Friendly, communicative, and able to handle customer complaints well
• Able to manage beverage stock and control bar operational costs
• Able to make quick and effective decisions in emergency or busy situations
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, especially during peak hours
