Bar Captain

Key ResponsibilitiesService & Operations

● Supervise and lead bar operations during service, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-energy execution

● Maintain exceptional cocktail quality, consistency, and presentation at all times

● Monitor service flow and step in during high-pressure periods to support the team

● Ensure all guests receive prompt, engaging, and personalized service

● Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and proactively

Team Leadership

● Act as the shift leader for bartenders and barbacks

● Train, coach, and mentor team members on cocktails, service standards, and upselling techniques

● Enforce discipline, grooming, and performance standards

● Assist in scheduling, shift briefings, and team communication

Product & Standards

● Maintain deep knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, and bar menu offerings

● Ensure proper stock levels, mise en place, and bar readiness before service

● Monitor wastage, spillage, and cost control measures

● Uphold hygiene, safety, and compliance standards

Sales & Performance

● Drive revenue through upselling, product recommendations, and guest engagement

● Support achievement of nightly sales targets and KPIs

● Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and increase bar profitability

Requirements

● Minimum 2–3 years experience in a high-volume cocktail bar in a supervisory or senior bartender role

● Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and bar techniques

● Proven ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced nightlife environments

● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

● Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

● Flexible with working hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience in upscale or concept-driven bars/restaurants

● Background in nightlife operations or entertainment venues

● Basic inventory and cost control knowledge

Pay: Php27,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
