Bar Floor Staff

About the role

As a member of the floor team, you will be welcoming guests, providing knowledgeable table service and helping to keep the venue running smoothly throughout service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming and seating guests and providing friendly, attentive table service
• Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Serving cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and food to tables
• Developing a strong knowledge of Flagship Distillery's spirits, drinks list and food menu
• Confidently explaining our gin range, gin flights and other products to guests
• Clearing and resetting tables and maintaining presentation standards throughout the venue
• Assisting with opening, closing and general venue duties
• Supporting the bar team during busy periods
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Following responsible service of alcohol and venue procedures

About you

• Naturally engaging, reliable and comfortable interacting with customers
• Previous hospitality experience preferred, particularly in bars, restaurants, cellar doors or other customer-focused venues
• Attitude, presentation and a willingness to learn are equally important
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and communicates confidently
• Current South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification required
