About the Role

As the Host/Floor Supervisor, you are the gatekeeper of our guest experience. You are the first smile our guests see and the last thank-you they hear. Your primary role is to create a seamless and welcoming flow from the door to the table/bar, managing reservations, waitlists, and setting the tone for a fantastic visit. Your organization and warm personality are crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with genuine warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism upon arrival and departure
• Manage the seating chart efficiently to ensure even distribution of guests among service staff while maximizing seating capacity
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally
• Politely and accurately manage wait times, quote accurate times to guests, and notify them promptly when their table is ready
• Maintain clear and constant communication with servers, bartenders, and managers regarding table status, guest needs, and any special requests or large parties
• Have a basic understanding of our menu, including any specials, to answer initial guest questions
• Ensure the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas are clean, organized, and presentable
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures to ensure the bar is prepared for service and properly shut down
• Assist other team members with bussing tables, refilling water, or other tasks to ensure smooth service during peak hours

Qualifications & Skills

• Possess a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card or a valid visa to work in HK, as this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• Prior experience in a host, server, or customer-facing role is preferred, but a fantastic attitude and willingness to learn are most important
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., menus, highchairs)
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
