We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join our Mix'd bar team. If you have a passion for mixology and experience in hospitality, we want to hear from you.

We’re all about great cocktails, great people and an unforgettable experience at Mix'd and we are looking for someone who can bring the energy, leadership and professionalism to the team to lead and create a vibrant and fun bar environment for both guests and our team, whilst maintaining the smooth running of the bar at all times.

As our Bar Manager, you will work closely with our Site Manager to grow and continue the high standards Mix'd is known for and assist in driving the business forward in the coming years.

Key responsibilities include;

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the bar
• Significant contribution and input into menu creation and beverage design (including seasonal menus, special events, weekly/monthly specials etc)
• Leading, motivating and supporting the bar team, ensuring service runs smoothly and staff are kept busy during quiet periods. Providing constructive feedback when requiring and assisting with managing staff breaks while on shift
• Ensuring the bar is adequately stocked at all times, including any bar prep and pre batching required. Assist Site Manager with monthly stocktakes
• Maintaining and ensuring consistency across all beverages served
• Open and close the bar following our opening and closing procedures
• Ensure the bar is kept clean and tidy at all times

Qualities;

• A valid Duty Manager certificate is essential.

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced bar environment

• Mixology experience, with knowledge across all beverage categories (cocktails, wines, beers & spirits), with a willingness to continue learning and developing skills

• A calm and professional approach under pressure

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• A positive team player with a great attitude

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays
