Bar Manager

Job Summary

Report In Pub is looking for an experienced Bar Manager to oversee beverage service, lead the bar team, manage inventory, and help maintain an efficient and welcoming atmosphere. The manager will play an active role in daily service, staff development, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily bar operations and coordinate service during each shift.
• Supervise, coach, and support bartenders and bar-support employees.
• Help create staff schedules and arrange coverage when needed.
• Monitor drink preparation, presentation, and service quality.
• Manage beer, liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Track inventory and communicate purchasing needs to management.
• Monitor product usage and help reduce waste and unnecessary costs.
• Maintain accurate POS, cash-handling, and closing procedures.
• Train employees on beverage service, customer care, and workplace standards.
• Respond to guest questions and resolve bar-service concerns professionally.
• Keep the bar, storage areas, and service stations clean and organized.
• Ensure staff follow sanitation, safety, and responsible-service procedures.
• Support busy brunch periods, evening service, special events, and private parties.

Qualifications

• Previous bar management, restaurant supervision, or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage and bar-service operations.
• Ability to lead and motivate a service team.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with inventory control, ordering, and POS systems.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a busy neighborhood bar and restaurant.
• Dependable, professional, and able to handle operational decisions.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy event periods.

Report In Pub is a full-service neighborhood bar and kitchen in West Omaha at 120th & Center. The pub is known for Omaha-beef burgers, wings, brunch, cocktails, and a selection of 20+ beers on tap. Report In Pub also operates a mobile kitchen food truck for private and community events.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
