Bar Manager

Job Summary

Solid Grill & Bar is seeking a hands-on Bar Manager to oversee beverage operations, lead the bar team, maintain service standards, and help create an enjoyable guest experience. The role includes staff leadership, inventory control, customer service, and day-to-day bar operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and service flow.
• Lead, train, and support bartenders and bar staff.
• Prepare schedules and coordinate shift coverage.
• Maintain consistent standards for cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate beverage and supply orders.
• Track product usage and help control beverage costs and waste.
• Manage POS transactions and proper cash-handling procedures.
• Monitor responsible alcohol-service practices.
• Handle guest questions, feedback, and service concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with restaurant and kitchen teams during busy shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar.
• Assist with special events, happy hours, and promotional activities.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and employee training.
• Ensure staff follow sanitation and workplace procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous bar, restaurant, or hospitality management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service.
• Excellent customer-service and communication abilities.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory, and cash handling.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
