Bar Manager

Job Summary

Northside Tavern is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations and help maintain efficient service in a busy live-music venue. The role will support bartenders, inventory control, guest service, scheduling, and overall bar performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and service standards
• Lead, train, and support bartending staff
• Manage bar inventory, ordering, and product organization
• Monitor beverage costs, waste, and stock levels
• Assist with staff scheduling and shift coverage
• Maintain responsible alcohol-service and safety standards
• Handle guest concerns professionally
• Coordinate with management and event staff during live performances
• Keep the bar, storage areas, and service stations clean and organized
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Monitor cash handling and daily bar operations

Qualifications

• Previous bar management or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service and bar operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience with inventory and cost control
• Ability to work effectively in a busy nightlife environment
• Reliable attendance and professional work habits
• Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bartending experience is strongly preferred

About The Company

Northside Tavern is a long-running Atlanta blues bar and live-music venue located on Howell Mill Road. The tavern features live music seven nights a week and has been operated by the same family for decades.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
