Bar Manager

Job Summary

We are on the lookout for an energetic and passionate Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere. In this role, you'll oversee daily bar activities, manage the team, and ensure every guest enjoys a top-notch experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about hospitality, skilled in team management, and has a knack for crafting great drinks while maintaining high standards of food safety and service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bar staff, including bartenders and serving team members, to ensure smooth service and excellent customer interactions.
• Oversee the preparation of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Manage inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies; place orders as needed to prevent shortages.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Train new staff on bartending techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
• Develop creative drink menus that appeal to diverse guests while promoting responsible drinking practices.
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience for all patrons.

Experience

• Proven supervising or team management experience in bars, restaurants, or hospitality settings.
• Extensive bartending background with strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
• Experience in food preparation or culinary environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production and handling.
• Background in restaurant or hotel operations enhances understanding of hospitality standards.
• Previous experience with food service or serving roles demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team toward shared goals.
