SUMMARY: POSITION INFO: Busy Pub and Restaurant is seeking a highly experienced Bar Manager to handle all day-to-day bar operations, manages beverage inventory, and ensures profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service and legal compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Oversee bar opening and closing procedures, monitor service flow, and handle customer feedback or complaints promptly.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule bartenders and bar backs; conduct pre-shift briefings.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, manage ordering and deliveries, build vendor relationships, and minimize waste.
• Financial Performance: Track daily sales, manage cash handling and registers, assist with payroll preparation, and support budget targets.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce local liquor licensing laws, health and hygiene regulations, and responsible beverage service.
• Menu & Promotions: Collaborate on beverage programs, craft cocktail menus, and promote special events or seasonal offerings. Qualifications & Skills
• 2 to 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced hospitality or high-volume bar/restaurant environment.
• Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, multitasking, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and basic math/accounting practices.
• Alcohol service certification will be an advantage
