Thursday–Saturday: 2:30 PM–9:30 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description

Mocha Bay is seeking a highly experienced, professional, and dependable Bar Manager to oversee bar operations and maintain high standards of beverage service, organization, and hospitality.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive bartending knowledge, proven leadership experience, and the ability to take ownership of day-to-day bar operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and service
• Lead, support, and provide direction to bartending staff
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages according to established standards
• Maintain consistency in beverage quality and presentation
• Monitor liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, and other inventory
• Assist with inventory counts, ordering, restocking, and waste control
• Ensure the bar is properly stocked and prepared before service
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and safety standards
• Ensure responsible alcohol-service procedures are followed
• Train and assist with onboarding bartending staff
• Handle guest concerns professionally
• Oversee opening and closing bar procedures
• Communicate staffing, inventory, and operational needs to ownership/management
• Promote a professional, positive, and team-oriented working environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant bartending and/or bar management experience required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
• Must be available during the required Thursday–Sunday schedule

Uniform & Appearance

Team members are expected to maintain a polished and professional appearance. Black dress pants or an appropriate black skirt, sheer stockings when applicable, and clean black professional shoes, loafers, flats or appropriate heels are required. A white Mocha Bay logo shirt will be provided.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
