What they need
About the role
Lead the bar day-to-day and keep service running smoothly. Run the upstairs function space including member nights, prizegivings, private functions, quiz nights, live music, sports screenings and fresh ideas you bring. Plan, promote and deliver a calendar of events that gets members and their friends through the door. Build, roster and motivate a friendly, switched-on bar team. Manage stock, ordering, supplier relationships and cost control. Keep everything compliant with host responsibility and licensing requirements.
About you
- Bar or hospitality management experience, ideally including events or functions
- A current Manager's Certificate (or the ability to get one quickly)
- Big energy, a positive attitude and a genuine love of looking after people
- A natural leader who sets the tone for the team
- Organised, reliable and good with numbers, stock and rosters
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings for events
