Bar Manager

About the role

The Cashmere Club is one of Christchurch's most established and well-loved members' clubs, and we're growing. Following a significant programme of renovations and investment — including a state-of-the-art audio-visual system and upgraded function spaces — we're busier than ever and looking for a experienced and talented, Bar Manager to join our team.

Key responsibilities

• Rostering and stock control / ordering

• Responsible service of alcohol in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

• Operating the bar during Club events, functions, and entertainment nights

• Cash handling and point-of-sale operation

• Supporting the team during set-up and pack-down for functions

• Preparing and serving drinks to a consistently high standard

• Delivering outstanding, friendly service to Club members and guests

• Maintaining bar cleanliness, stock levels, and presentation to Club standards

About you

• Current LCQ and Duty Managers Certificate

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and service standards

• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

• Experience in the industry

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great experiences for guests

• Must be 18 years of age or over
