Bar Manager

Bar manager required for a busy bar located in Dublin 1. Must take responsibility for the day to day running of the business and management of the premises. The bar is high volume and combines food and beverage sales, offering a wide range of spirits, cocktails and beer. Business comes from a mix of regular clientele, reservations and events.

The Candidate must possess the following:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar Bar Manager/Management position
• Strong experience within the food & beverage/hospitality industry
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, drinks service and hospitality standards
• Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure
• A hands-on management style with a positive and professional attitude
• Experience with stock control, ordering and supplier management

Key Responsibilities

• Take over all responsibility for day to day operation of the bar
• Lead, motivate, train and manage the bar team
• Recruit and assist with building a strong team ahead of the pub reopening
• Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times
• Maintain consistently high standards of customer service, drinks quality and presentation
• Manage stock level, ordering, deliveries and supplier relationships
• Monitor stock usage, wastage and beverage costs
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, organised and ready for service
• Work closely with the kitchen and wider management team to ensure a smooth food & beverage operation
• Deal professionally with customer feedback and resolve issues when required
• Drive sales and identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve the customer experience.
• Assist with the development of the dinks offering, promotions and events.

Pay: €45,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
