Bar Manager

Emblem is seeking an experienced and organized Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations and support the beverage and service team. This role involves coordinating bar staff, maintaining beverage quality and guest-service standards, monitoring inventory, and helping ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and is comfortable managing a busy bar and hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and guest-service activities.
• Coordinate bartender assignments and workflow throughout each shift.
• Support, guide, and communicate with bartenders and bar team members.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, order accuracy, and service standards.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching bar staff.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and routine service concerns professionally.
• Monitor beverage inventory, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and restocking inventory.
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked bar and service areas.
• Help coordinate staff schedules and communicate coverage needs.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily bar checklists.
• Monitor service efficiency and communicate operational needs to management.
• Follow applicable food-safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and responsible beverage-service procedures.
• Work cooperatively with servers, kitchen staff, and other hospitality team members.

Qualifications

• Previous bar, restaurant, hospitality, or beverage-service experience.
• Previous bartender, shift-lead, or bar-management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Knowledge of beverage service, bar operations, and inventory procedures.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to beverage quality, cleanliness, and service details.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to train, support, and motivate team members.
• Professional and respectful approach to guests and coworkers.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
