Responsibilities

As our Bar Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of Cleveland Draft House - Clayton. You’ll manage shifts as the Manager on Duty (M.O.D.), ensuring smooth operations and a great experience for both guests and staff. Your responsibilities will include overseeing our 70 rotating taps, managing liquor and beer inventories, and creating exciting cocktail menus. You’ll also handle scheduling, staff management, and vendor relationships, all while working to control costs and build the business. You’ll act as an assistant General Manager, taking ownership of opening and closing duties and ensuring the bar runs efficiently at all times.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role who can bring energy, leadership, and expertise to our team. Key qualifications include:

• Strong knowledge of craft beers, cocktails, and bar operations.
• Experience managing inventory, creating schedules, and controlling costs.
• Ability to handle kegs and oversee a high-volume tap system.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with vendors and staff.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
