Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bar Person to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately for a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Prepare and serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Ensure all beverages are served in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills, providing correct change and processing payments securely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and support overall venue operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, bartending, serving, or restaurant roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and maintain energy throughout shifts

Pay: £12.71-£18.57 per hour
