Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle basic math calculations for bills and change
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Follow responsible serving practices by checking IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption to promote guest safety
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere and ensure efficient service flow during peak hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, bartending, serving, or restaurant roles is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or glassware
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to contribute to a lively guest experience

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
