Bar Server

Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take beverage and food orders accurately using POS system.
• Serve drinks and meals promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, ensuring correct billing and payment processing.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering, banquet events,
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment for all patrons.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems ,experience with cash handling is essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or events simultaneously in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent customer service abilities combined with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
• Experience working in fine dining environments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math, restaurant math, and cash transactions.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including serving techniques, catering operations, brewing processes, and retail math.
