Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take beverage and food orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and coordinate guest needs seamlessly

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or beverage industry, preferably with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds
• Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, spirits, wine, and beverage trends
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with drink service, alcohol regulations, and responsible beverage service practices is highly desirable

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
