Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate drink orders, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area, glassware, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables, serving food when needed, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards in a food industry environment

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to upsell beverages and menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Experience with cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and beverage presentation is a plus
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in high-volume settings
• Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Previous host/hostess or bartending experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
