Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue through effective suggestive selling techniques
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments swiftly and securely
• Assist with bar setup, restocking supplies, and cleaning duties to ensure a well-organized workspace

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or beverage industry, including bartending or cocktail experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service standards in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in food industry settings
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality roles that involve serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess duties is advantageous

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
