Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate beverage and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
• Upsell menu items by recommending drinks and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Process cash transactions, credit card payments, and handle cash register operations efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools, following sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables, refilling supplies, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries promptly, and ensure exceptional guest services at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or beverage industry roles such as bartender, cocktail server, or host/hostess.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in beverage preparation, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and cocktail mixing techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest rapport quickly.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is desirable; hospitality background preferred.

Pay: $12.15 - $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 14.0 – 20.0 per week
