Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
• Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions
• Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Manage cash handling responsibilities efficiently while processing payments accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages and menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
