Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales and cash handling
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment, following sanitation guidelines
• Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours with excellent time management skills
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Build rapport with guests to foster guest relations and encourage repeat visits

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or beverage industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change accurately
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
