Duties

• Take accurate beverage and food orders using Toast POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques like Toast Tables reservations and suggestive selling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations during drink preparation, serving, and cleanup.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while managing tabs, processing payments swiftly, and providing excellent guest relations throughout service.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with food handling or basic food preparation when needed.
• Engage guests with friendly hospitality, ensure their needs are met promptly, and foster a lively yet professional atmosphere reminiscent of fine dining or nightclub settings.

Skills

• Proficiency with Toast POS systems
• Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage service standards.
• Previous experience in food service environments such as restaurants or nightclubs is highly valued.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Solid understanding of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling protocols.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication to build guest loyalty and positive relations.

Pay: $13.40 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
