Bar Server

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive beverage and food service throughout their visit
• Take accurate drink orders using POS system and process sales transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Manage cash handling accurately and process payments swiftly using POS systems

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer with the ability to make recommendations to guests
• Familiarity with Toast POS system, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Knowledge of the food industry trends and an enthusiasm for delivering memorable guest experiences

Pay: $6.00 - $8.00 per hour
