Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Take accurate food and drink orders from customers promptly and efficiently
• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle basic math calculations for bills and change
• Monitor stock levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures and responsible alcohol service

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality with experience in restaurant or bar settings
• Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure safe handling of beverages and food items
• Skilled in bartending techniques, including mixing drinks and garnishing presentations
• Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash register operations
• Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy service periods
• Good communication skills to interact clearly with team members and guests

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
