Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following safety and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving change
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, intervening when necessary in accordance with food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and support other areas as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and work in a lively setting
• A friendly attitude, reliability, and a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences
