Our Venue

The Angel & Crown is not your average local – we are a funky 70s-style pub in the heart of Bethnal Green. Our space is a hub for DJ nights, live jazz, themed parties, and good vibes. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming community spot with a retro twist, where guests can enjoy quality drinks, music, and atmosphere. LGBT inclusive.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum one year experience in pubs or behind bars

• A people person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Confidence behind the bar

• Reliability and good communication skills with locals and customers.

• Someone ready to step up as a team leader, or keen to grow into the role with our support

• Initiative-taking attitude

What You ll Be Doing

• 30 to 40 hours per week

• Pouring pints and preparing basic cocktails with consistency and care

• Delivering friendly yet professional customer service

• Setting up and maintaining the bar and floor during service

• Handling opening & closing duties for bar and floor

• Taking on supervisory responsibilities of procedure, supporting and motivating the team, and ensuring smooth service according to standards.

Pay Rate

• £13 to £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
