Grace Kelly’s Irish Bar is getting ready to open its doors, and we’re looking for confident, energetic and hardworking bar staff to join our brand-new team.

We’re expecting a very busy opening, so we need people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can keep their cool when the bar is packed and, most importantly, know how to give customers a great experience.

What we’re looking for

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is strongly preferred
• Confident serving customers in a busy environment
• Cocktail-making experience is a big advantage
• Experience pouring Guinness correctly and consistently is desirable
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service
• Comfortable working as part of a busy team
• Able to work quickly while maintaining high standards
• Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
• Good communication skills
• Strong standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Willingness to learn our drinks, cocktails and products
• Flexible availability, particularly evenings and weekends
• Confidence dealing with a high-volume bar during busy nights

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service, preparing drinks and cocktails, pouring draught products, taking payments, keeping the bar clean and stocked and helping the wider team wherever needed.

You'll work alongside our Supervisors and Manager, learning the standards we want Grace Kelly's to become known for.

We're looking for people who aren't afraid of a busy bar. There will be times when we're packed, orders are coming in quickly and everyone needs to work together.

Personality matters

We want Grace Kelly's to have the atmosphere of a proper Irish bar — welcoming, lively and full of personality.

We're looking for people who can have a laugh with customers while still providing professional service.

If you've got ideas, we want to hear them too. Whether that's a new cocktail, an event idea or simply a better way of doing something, creativity and initiative will always be encouraged.
