Bar Staff

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service of alcohol
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables when required
• Follow food safety regulations and health & safety procedures at all times
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, enhancing their overall experience

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, food safety knowledge, or restaurant service is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
• A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and adherence to licensing laws
