Bar Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is essential, full training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
• Take orders and handle cash transactions with basic maths skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to licensing laws
• Assist in restocking supplies and managing stock levels
• Provide friendly and professional service to all guests, creating a welcoming environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is preferred but not mandatory
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
• Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately
• Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is required, training will be provided for those returning to the industry
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Pay: £13.00 per hour
