Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Bar Worker to join our team. This role is ideal for anyone looking for part-time work centered around weekend and evening shifts. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks from behind the bar, providing friendly table service, and keeping the front-of-house area clean and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Bar Service: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, operate the till, process cash/card payments, and maintain stock behind the counter.
• Table Service: Greet guests, take food and drink orders at tables, and deliver items efficiently with a friendly attitude.
• Clearing & Hygiene: Clear empty glasses, plates, and cutlery promptly; wipe down tables; and maintain cleanliness across the bar area, seating floor, and washrooms.
• Opening & Closing Duties: Assist with setting up the venue before opening or completing restock and cleaning checklists at the end of night shifts.
• Customer Care: Handle guest inquiries with care and check IDs to enforce responsible alcohol service policies.

Requirements & Skills

• Ability to regularly work Friday through Sunday shifts and evening hours.
• Prior experience in a bar, pub, or restaurant environment is preferred, but willing candidates with a great attitude will be trained.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, welcoming demeanor.
• Capability to stay composed and work efficiently during high-volume, busy peak hours.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods, clear heavy trays, and lift drink crates/kegs.
• Must meet the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol in this jurisdiction.

You must be 18 to serve drinks so we cannot accept anyone who isnt 18 years of age

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
