Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take orders accurately from guests, providing friendly and efficient service to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
• Manage cash transactions and operate POS (Point of Sale) systems with precision using basic math skills.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to legal alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively, safe, and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Experience in bartending or serving drinks is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week

Work Location: In person
