Bar Staff

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service in a new and exciting bar which opened in Blandford Forum, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and work in a dynamic setting, perfect for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry.

Duties

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
• Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
• Experience in serving or working behind a bar is beneficial
• Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities are essential for handling busy periods effectively
• Basic maths skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately
• A friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanour are vital for success in this role
