Bar Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve crafting beverages, managing orders, and maintaining cleanliness within the bar area. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
• Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring all requests are met promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, providing assistance and recommendations as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the till effectively.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates.
• Strong basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• A solid understanding of food safety practices within a restaurant or bar environment is desirable.
• A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued in our establishment.
• Cocktails experience and knowledge preferred

Various hours available

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
