Hours: minimum 25 hours, includes weekends
Salary: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Bar Staff to join our team at our local village club.

You will be responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient service to our members and visitors, helping to create a friendly atmosphere within the club.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take drink orders and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Operate the till and handle cash/card payments accurately.
• Keep the bar, tables and customer areas clean and tidy.
• Check stock levels and report any shortages to the club management.
• Restock fridges and bar supplies as required.
• Follow licensing, health and safety and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Assist with setting up and clearing away for club events, functions and entertainment.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and visitors.
• Work as part of a small, friendly team.
• Carry out opening and closing duties.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and polite.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Confident dealing with customers.
• Comfortable working independently and running the bar.
• Able to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
• Trustworthy and responsible when handling money.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and club events.

Minimum of 2 years previous bar experience is desirable. Cellar training essential

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 32.0 per week
