Join our vibrant team as a Bar Staff member and become the heartbeat of an energetic and welcoming environment! In this role, you’ll craft delicious cocktails and other drinks, serve customers on Thursday and Friday evenings and regular Saturday evenings and covering other members off staff when off both in our bar and the shop.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, spirits,and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair
• Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales
• Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments securely
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• Previous experience : Minimum 12 months bar work
• Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and serving standards
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 11.0 – 17.0 per week
