Bar staff

Preston Golf Club is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable Bar & Catering Assistants to join our team.

We are looking for people who take pride in delivering excellent service, enjoy working with people and, most importantly, understand the importance of being part of a friendly, supportive and hardworking team.

Experience in a bar, restaurant, hospitality or catering environment is preferred, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

The role

Working across our members' bar, catering and private functions, your role will include:

Serving members and guests from the bar in a friendly and professional manner

Taking orders and serving drinks, bar snacks and food

Providing table service for seated meals and functions

Setting up and preparing the bar and dining areas before service

Clearing and resetting tables to a high standard

Assisting with private functions, celebrations and club events

Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently

Operating the till and handling payments

Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation

Restocking the bar, fridges and service areas

Following food hygiene, licensing, health & safety and club procedures

Supporting colleagues across the bar and catering operation whenever required

Helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and their guests
