Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
• Take orders from guests, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations at all times
• Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills for accurate billing and change handling
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, intervening when necessary in accordance with policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, bartending, serving, or restaurant roles is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with bar work
• A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• An interest in real ales and craft beers is a huge advantage
