Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair
• Take orders from guests promptly and accurately, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving practices
• Manage cash register transactions efficiently, handling payments and giving correct change using basic math skills
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure all drinks are prepared in a hygienic manner
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and assist in setting up or closing down the bar as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving regulations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Familiarity with serving techniques and beverage presentation is a plus

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
