Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
• Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age before serving alcohol
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, balancing tills at the end of shifts
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience and promote ongoing patronage
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or similar roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Bartending skills, including cocktail preparation, are highly advantageous
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Good time management to ensure prompt service without compromising quality

Pay: £10.85-£12.72 per hour
