Job Summary

Sous Le Nez is looking for friendly and reliable Bar Staff to help deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming bar environment. The successful candidate will assist with preparing and serving drinks, keeping the bar clean and organised, and supporting the wider team during busy service periods.

Job Description

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with training and workplace procedures.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised bar area.
• Restock drinks, glassware and other bar supplies when required.
• Collect and wash glassware and keep service areas presentable.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Process customer payments accurately using the appropriate till system.
• Work closely with restaurant and kitchen colleagues to support smooth service.
• Respond politely to customer questions and pass on complaints to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and workplace cleanliness procedures.
• Follow UK licensing rules and company procedures, including age-verification requirements.
• Help maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Qualifications

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A friendly, polite and approachable manner.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable timekeeping and a responsible attitude.
• Good attention to detail when taking orders and handling payments.
• Ability to remain organised during busy periods.
• Willingness to learn drink preparation and bar service procedures.
• Previous bar, hospitality or restaurant experience is useful but not essential.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, where required.
• Must meet the legal age and licensing requirements applicable to the duties performed.

Pay: £19.00-£24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
