Bar Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a vital part of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that our patrons enjoy their experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with guests to provide outstanding service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products and service techniques.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle busy shifts.
• Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
• A culinary background or interest in food preparation is beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7.40-£12.71 per hour
